Women in WACREN 2024
Women in WACREN (WiW) is a dedicated initiative by the West and Central African Research and Education Network designed to tackle gender inequality and the underrepresentation of women in STEM fields across the region.
EMPOWERING WOMEN IN STEM ACROSS AFRICA
The goal was to create video content that effectively highlights WiW's core activities, such as capacity building through technical training, online courses, and hackathons, while building a community of practice among female researchers.
We developed engaging visual narratives that showcase the real-world impact of the initiative, emphasizing how it equips women to develop practical tech solutions for local community challenges and fosters strategic partnerships for digital sovereignty.
